The Innoseis team were proud to see founder Jo van den Brand receive the FOM Valorisation prize during the Physics@FOM congress on January 19th this year. The congress brings together more than 2,000 physicists from the Netherlands and around the world. As well as recognising achievements from within the community, the comprehensive programme reviews the latest thinking across a broad range of subject areas in Physics.
According to the jury, van den Brand won the award for “his commitment to the valorisation of very fundamental knowledge and expertise that originate from the subatomic physics research”.
The objective of the FOM valorisation prize is to stimulate the flow of knowledge from physics research into commercial applications. Something that van den Brand has realised successfully with the products developed with Innoseis.
